Trinity metro station
Trinity metro station is an elevated station on the Purple Line of Namma Metro in Bengaluru, India. It opened on 20 October 2011 and is located on M.G. Road near Sivanchetti Gardens.
The station has two side platforms (Platform 1 for Whitefield/Kadugodi and Platform 2 for Challaghatta) and two tracks. It is accessible for people with disabilities and has bicycle facilities. The station code is TTY.
Construction and operation
The station was built by Punj Lloyd - Sembawang Infrastructure (India) JV and is electrified with a 750 V DC third rail. It is operated by Namma Metro (BMRCL).
Branding and space
In 2014, BMRCL invited a tender for co-branding the station with a corporate partner. In 2016, a 4,000 sq ft basement at the station was created; it was initially for storage but was later rented out as a cultural space. The basement can be used for events and is rented at about ₹400 per hour.
Services
On the Purple Line, Trinity serves trains toward Whitefield (Kadugodi) via Halasuru and toward Challaghatta via Mahatma Gandhi Road.
