Townsend House (Pughtown, Pennsylvania)

Townsend House, also known as Lundale Farm, is a historic home near Pughtown in South Coventry Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was built in three stages, with the oldest part dating to 1796, plus additions in the early 1800s and in 1950. The main house is a two-and-a-half-story, five-bay, random fieldstone structure coated in stucco, with a gable roof and a brick chimney on the west end. The 1950 addition is another two-and-a-half-story section attached to the east end. The property also includes a stone springhouse dating from the early 1700s. Townsend House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
