Tonenke is a small village in eastern Ukraine, in Donetsk Oblast. It is part of Pokrovsk Raion and lies about 23.5 kilometers northwest of Donetsk city. The village sits at about 175 meters above sea level. In 2001, about 320 people lived there. Postal code is 86050 and the area code is +380 6236.

Since the War in Donbas began in 2014, Tonenke has suffered from shelling and casualties: a civilian was killed on November 12, 2016, and a Ukrainian soldier was killed on January 31, 2017.

Administrative changes: until July 18, 2020, Tonenke belonged to Yasynuvata Raion. After a 2020 reform, it became part of Pokrovsk Raion in Donetsk Oblast.

In 2024, Russia claimed to have captured Tonenke (reported March 21, 2024), with Ukrainian sources confirming the claim on March 27, 2024.
