Toby Okechukwu
Toby Okechukwu is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who represented the Aninri, Awgu, and Oji River federal constituency in Enugu State in the House of Representatives. A member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), he served as a lawmaker and was later succeeded by Anayo Onwuegbu.
He was born on 3 August 1962 in Ugbo, Agwu Local Government Area, Enugu State. He attended Community Primary School Ngene and St. Vincent’s Secondary School in Agbogugu. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Calabar in 1986, a Master of Business Administration from the Anambra State University of Technology in 1991, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Lagos in 2000. He went on to the Nigerian Law School in Lagos and was called to the bar in 2001.
