Tim Brummett (born September 1, 1952) is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Spokane, Washington. His music blends country, folk rock, and acoustic styles. He started playing at age 15 but paused his musical dreams to raise a family. He signed with Christander Records on April 5, 2005, at age 53, and released his first studio album, You Only Live Twice, that year. Some songs from the album reached No. 1 on certain internet music charts, and the track “Share Your Load” was played on more than 200 radio stations across the United States.

In 2006 he formed Tim Brummett and the Boomers with fiddle player Kurt Baumer and other musicians. The band toured the Pacific Northwest and opened for Josh Gracin in Spokane. Brummett later left the band to pursue a solo career. He wrote in a MySpace blog that performing solo helps him connect with the audience, and he released a rough demo of a new song, “Gettin Out Of Fargo,” on MySpace.
