Thierry Wouters
Thierry Wouters (born 12 July 1979) is a Belgian former swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle. He competed in the 2000 Olympics and held Belgian records in the 50 and 100 metre freestyle.
In 1999, at the European Short Course Championships, he set a Belgian record of 22.35 seconds in the 50 m freestyle and finished sixth.
At the Belgian Championships in Antwerp, he earned FINA B standards of 22.92 for the 50 m and 50.50 for the 100 m. In Sydney, he finished 32nd in the 100 m freestyle preliminaries, and swam 51.07 seconds in his heat to place 7th in that heat. In the 50 m freestyle, he finished 39th overall with a time of 23.44 seconds.
