The Stahlman is a historic Beaux-Arts building in Nashville, Tennessee. It was completed in 1907 for Major Edward Bushrod Stahlman and originally housed the Fourth National Bank; the vault remains in the basement. The Stahlman family owned the building until the 1950s. Today, it has been renovated into loft apartments and retail spaces. Since 1967, its roof has displayed large neon letters with the radio station WKDF’s callsign (WKDA occupied part of the building before moving in 1978). The building was designed by architects James Edwin Ruthven Carpenter Jr. and Walter D. Blair. It is a contributing property to the Nashville Financial Historic District and has been listed since March 20, 2002. The site is less than an acre in size.
