Ionuț Pop
Ionuț Alin Pop (born 1 August 1997) is a Romanian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Liga I club Hermannstadt. He was born in Oradea, Romania, and is 1.90 meters tall. He wears the number 22 for Hermannstadt.
Pop began his youth career with Bihor Oradea and spent time with AS Roma, including a loan. He did not appear for Roma’s first team and was loaned to Fidelis Andria for the 2016–17 season, where he played 13 games. In 2017 he signed with Alessandria and later joined Hermannstadt in 2019. He has also been on loan to CSM Slatina (2022–2023) and CSA Steaua București (2023).
Internationally, Pop played for Romania’s under-19 team, earning three caps between 2014 and 2015. He made his U19 debut on 17 November 2015 against Switzerland, in which he received a red card. His professional debut came on 14 September 2016 for Fidelis Andria in a match against Paganese, playing the full 90 minutes.
