The Immortal Thor is a Marvel Comics superhero fantasy series written by Al Ewing. The art team includes Martin Cóccolo, Jan Bazaldua, and Pasqual Ferry, with Alex Ross on the covers. The story follows Thor, now All-Father of Asgard and the Ten Realms, as he faces a new challenge from the gods of Utgard. The series explores how big corporations and editorial decisions affect the world of superheroes, offering a meta look at storytelling, canon, and power in comics.

Loki appears as the God of Stories, and the cast also includes the Roxxon corporation led by Dario Agger, Amora the Enchantress, and Skurge the Executioner. In issue 17, Magni Thorson, Thor and Amora’s son from an alternate universe, is brought into the main continuity. The Immortal Thor is a deconstruction of how external forces shape a story and its characters, rather than just focusing on battles or body horror.

The series began in 2023 and has been collected in multiple trade paperback editions. After 25 issues under The Immortal Thor, the book was relaunched as The Mortal Thor in August 2025.
