The Bailiffs is a 1932 British short comedy directed by T.E.F. Cadman. It stars Bud Flanagan and Chesney Allen, with a story by Fred Karno. Produced by Clayton Hutton for Gaumont-British Picture Corporation, the film was made at Ealing Studios and runs 26 minutes. The plot follows two bumbling debt-collectors who go to the wrong house to repossess it, leading to a series of comic mishaps. Kine Weekly praised the duo as famous music hall stars and described the misadventures as side-splitting. The Bailiffs was later released on the DVD The Ealing Studios Rarities Collection – Volume 12 (Network, 2014).
