Thalassotalea litorea

Thalassotalea litorea is a bacterium from the genus Thalassotalea. It was isolated from beach sand along the South Sea coast of Korea. The species was described in 2017 by Kang and colleagues. The type strains are KCTC 52154, 112672, and HMF4135. It belongs to the order Alteromonadales, the family Colwelliaceae, and the class Gammaproteobacteria.
