Tex Hoffman
Tex Hoffman, born Edward Adolph Hoffman on November 30, 1893, in San Antonio, Texas, was a Major League Baseball third baseman. He played for one season in 1915 with the Cleveland Indians, appearing in nine games. He batted left-handed and threw right-handed. His MLB stats included a .154 batting average, 0 home runs, and 1 run scored. After 1915, he continued in the minor leagues until 1935 and later managed in the minors from 1935 to 1937 for Tallahassee in the Georgia–Florida League. He died on May 19, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana, at age 53.
