1939 Detroit Titans football team
1939 Detroit Titans football team represented the University of Detroit as an independent in the 1939 college football season. They played at the University of Detroit Stadium and outscored opponents 149 to 90, finishing 5–3–1 in Gus Dorais’ 15th season as head coach (a College Football Hall of Fame inductee). The Titans were not in the final AP poll, but were No. 41 in the Williamson System and No. 44 in the final Litkenhous Ratings.
