Terry Orndorff
Terry Orndorff (born October 7, 1951) is a former American professional wrestler and the younger brother of Paul Orndorff. He started wrestling in 1978 and retired in 1982. Early in his career he wrestled mainly in Tennessee for Georgia Championship Wrestling and Southeastern Championship Wrestling, often teaming with his brother Paul.
In 1980 he wrestled for Mid-South Wrestling, where he and Junkyard Dog won the Mid-South Tag Team Championship, then lost the titles the next month. In January 1981 he teamed with Chief Frank Hill to win the vacant NWA Tri-State Tag Team Championship; the titles were held up in February, and Akbar’s Army won them in a follow-up match. Orndorff later turned on Junkyard Dog and the two had a feud. In October 1981, at Wrestling Star Wars, he and Kerry Von Erich won the Texas version of the NWA World Tag Team Championship.
He briefly returned to Mid-South Wrestling the next month after a disagreement with Fritz Von Erich; the titles were later awarded to Bill Irwin and Frank Dusek. He suffered a car accident in early 1982, made a brief comeback in late 1982 for the St. Louis Wrestling Club, and then retired to work as a boilermaker. His finishing move was the airplane spin.
