John Keogh (born 3 April 1969) is an Australian former lightweight rower and a top-level rowing coach. He was a national champion in 1991 and represented Australia at the World Rowing Championships in 1990 and 1991, finishing fourth in the lightweight four both times. He has worked as a high-performance coach for British Rowing and led the women’s programme at Rowing Canada from 2010 to 2016. Since 2016 he has been the head women’s coach for Rowing Australia.

Keogh is from Tasmania. He began with North Esk Rowing Club in Launceston and later rowed for Torrens Rowing Club in South Australia. His state career started with the Tasmanian youth eight in 1986, followed by youth eights in 1987 and 1988, and the Tasmanian lightweight four in 1989. After moving to South Australia in 1990, he competed for the Penrith Cup in lightweight fours (1990–1991), winning the Cup in 1991 as stroke of the South Australian lightweight four. He also won a national under-23 title in 1988 as stroke of a lightweight pair. In 1989 he was part of a composite SA–Tasmania crew for the national lightweight eight, but the race was cancelled due to conditions.

Keogh made his Australian senior debut at the 1990 World Rowing Championships in Lake Barrington, stroke in the lightweight four, finishing fourth. He repeated a fourth-place finish in the lightweight four at the 1991 World Championships in Vienna.

He began coaching in 1997 with Scotch Oakburn College in Launceston, and in 1998 he coached a Scotch Oakburn coxed four to the Australian national championships and the Tasmanian youth eight at Interstate Regatta.
