Temple of Nabu

Content sourced from Wikipedia, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0.

There were many temples dedicated to Nabu in ancient Mesopotamia. Nabu was the god of writing and wisdom. People built these temples in different cities to honor him. Each temple was a place for worship, offerings, and learning. Priests cared for the temples and kept records, and students often studied writing there. The temples varied in size and style, but they shared the same purpose: to connect people with Nabu and seek his guidance in knowledge and writing.
