BMDP
BMDP was a statistical software package created in 1965 by Wilfrid Dixon at UCLA. BMDP stands for Bio-Medical Data Package, because it was a collection of programs that could perform many kinds of statistical analyses. It was originally distributed for free. Later it was sold by Statsols, which started as a BMDP subsidiary but, after a management buy-out, became an independent company called Statistical Solutions Ltd (Statsols). BMDP has not been available since 2017. The company now focuses on its other product, nQuery Sample Size Software.
