Television producer
A television producer oversees parts of a TV show. Some producers work mainly on the business side, creating ideas, pitching them to networks, and then handling budgets and contracts. Other producers handle the daily work, such as writing, casting, set design, and directing. A show can have many producer roles, including showrunner, executive producer, supervising producer, coordinating producer, field producer, and line producer.
