Taylor Corporation
Taylor Corporation is a private print and communications company based in North Mankato, Minnesota. It was founded in 1975 by Glen Taylor when he bought Carlson Wedding Service. Glen Taylor remains chairman and his family owns the company, with Charles Whitaker serving as CEO since 2020. The company operates from more than 90 locations with about 10,000 employees, serving customers in many U.S. states and several countries.
By 2025, Taylor Corporation was the fifth-largest graphic communications company in the United States, behind RR Donnelley and Quad/Graphics, and it holds more than 200 patents. The business has grown by acquiring more than 200 companies since 1975, including Standard Register Co. in 2015 for about $307 million, which was re-branded as Taylor Corporation. It also acquired Staples Print Solutions, adding 10 commercial print facilities, and Curtis 1000 in 2002; the Curtis 1000 name was dropped in 2021, with the unit continuing under the Taylor brand.
Taylor prints ballots for Maryland and Clark County, Nevada.
