Akpet language
Akpet, also known as Ukpet-Ehom or Akpet-Ehom, is a small cluster of related languages (a dialect cluster) in Nigeria. It belongs to the Upper Cross River branch of the Niger-Congo language family and is spoken in Cross River State, Nigeria. There were about 11,000 native speakers as of 2000. The Akpet cluster has two main varieties: Ukpet (Akpet) and Ehom (Ubeteng, Ebeteng). Its ISO 639-3 code is akd, and its Glottolog code is ukpe1249.
