Tannbach is a German drama TV series that aired on ZDF from 2015 to 2018. It is inspired by the village Mödlareuth, where families were divided by the Iron Curtain along a brook called the Tannbach. The show follows life after World War II as the Cold War splits the village and its people along geographic and political lines, up to 1968. The series stars Heiner Lauterbach, Natalia Wörner, Henriette Confurius, and Jonas Nay, and was directed by Alexander Dierbach. It has two seasons and six episodes, with each episode running about 90 minutes. In the United States, the show is known as Line of Separation and was streamed by PBS.
