Talking with Chris Hardwick is a US talk show on AMC where host Chris Hardwick interviews a celebrity guest from pop culture. The show is one hour long, pre-recorded, and aired weekly. It debuted on April 9, 2017, and ran until September 3, 2017, with 15 episodes in the first season.
The format mixes casual chat, pop-culture discussion, and guest-specific trivia, plus segments like social media interactions and live audience participation. An uncensored version of each episode was later released as audio on The Nerdist Podcast.
AMC planned an eight-episode second season for June 17, 2018, with guests such as Chris Pratt, Bill Hader, Karen Gillan, Donald Glover, Ethan Hawke, Amy Adams, and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, with Evan Goldberg joining the season in the premiere. However, the network pulled the show a day before it was set to air following allegations against Hardwick. After an investigation, AMC reinstated him as host on July 25, 2018.
