The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Hong Kong (TECO) is Taiwan’s representative office in Hong Kong. Its counterpart in Taiwan is the Hong Kong Economic, Trade and Cultural Office in Taiwan. The office operates under the Mainland Affairs Council, Executive Yuan, and also houses branches of the National Immigration Agency and the Bureau of Consular Affairs. Its cultural arm is the Kwang Hwa Information and Culture Centre. The head of TECO also serves as the Director of the Mainland Affairs Council’s Hong Kong Affairs Bureau; the founding director was Susie Chiang Su-hui.

Location and buildings
- Address: Central Plaza, Suite 4907, 49/F, 18 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It is within walking distance north of Wan Chai MTR Station.

History and changes
- TECO began in 1966 as Chung Hwa Travel Service during British rule, operating under quasi-diplomatic arrangements.
- In 2011, it was renamed the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office to align with the common practice of Taiwan representative offices.
- In 2021, Hong Kong demanded staff sign a document related to the 1992 Consensus, leading to most staff being recalled.
- In December 2021, the office moved from Lippo Centre in Admiralty to Central Plaza in Wan Chai.

Notes
- The office has long handled visa matters and other Taiwan government functions for Hong Kong residents and visitors.
