Taichung Shiyakusho

Taichū Shiyakusho is a historic three-story Baroque building in Taichung’s West District, Taiwan. It was built in 1911 as the city’s government building during Japanese rule. After a renovated completed in 2014, it reopened in February 2016 as Café 1911 and an art center. The ground floor houses Café 1911, operated by the Rose House Group, while the upper floors host an art center. The building is just a short walk west of Taichung Station.
