Steve Bennett (born 5 February 1966 in Birmingham, United Kingdom) is a British entrepreneur and gemstone expert who later moved into health ventures. He built a string of online shopping and retail businesses. After early IT roles, he started a UK computer and software business that became Software Warehouse, growing to about 30 stores in the 1990s before selling it in 2000. He then launched jungle.com, an early online retailer, which he sold for £37 million. Bennett founded Gems TV in 2004 and The Genuine Gemstone Company in 2007, now employing around 500 people. The Genuine Gemstone Company was named to the Fast Track 100 list of fastest-growing private companies in 2012. By 2014 it operated several brands, including Gems TV. He is married to Angelle and has seven children.
