Synodus randalli is a species of lizardfish found mainly in the Western Indian Ocean and the Red Sea. It lives in saltwater in the benthopelagic zone, meaning it stays near the bottom and a bit above it. The fish lives in tropical waters and grows to about 11.3 cm (4.4 inches) long. It belongs to the family Synodontidae and the genus Synodus. Its scientific name is Synodus randalli, described by Cressey in 1981.
