Men's elite race
In Switzerland, this is a one-day road cycling race that decides the national champion. It started in 1892, with Edouard Wicky as the first winner. Ferdinand Kübler and Heiri Suter share the record for most wins, with five each. The current champion is Mauro Schmid.
Women's elite race
In Switzerland, this is also a one-day road race to determine the national champion. It began in 1982, and the first winner was Stefania Carmine. Edith Schönenberger holds the record with five wins. The current champion is Noemi Rüegg.
The championships are held every year to crown Switzerland's national road racing champions in these categories.
