Men's 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay at the 1999 Pan American Games
The event happened on August 5 at the Pan Am Pool. The United States were the defending champions. The relay had eight lengths of the pool, with each of the four swimmers doing two lengths. A swimmer could not leave the starting block until the previous swimmer touched the wall. The final was held on August 5.
