Sunrise (Marathi: अरुणोदय) is a 2014 drama film written and directed by Partho Sen-Gupta. Set in Mumbai, it follows Inspector Joshi, a grieving father whose daughter Aruna was kidnapped when she was six. In his sorrow, he experiences a recurring dream in which he chases a mysterious figure to a nightclub called Paradise, where teenage girls dance. He believes Aruna could be found there and vows to bring her back to his wife Leela.

The film stars Adil Hussain as Joshi, with Tannishtha Chatterjee, Komal Gupta, Esha Amlani, and veteran actress Ashalata Wabgaonkar. It is an Indo-French co-production produced by Partho Sen-Gupta, Marc Irmer, Nina Lath Gupta, and Rakesh Mehra, with production companies Independent Movies, National Film Development Corporation (India), and Dolce Vita Films. Cinematography is by Jean-Marc Ferriere, editing by Annick Raoul, and music by Eryck Abecassis.

Sunrise premiered at international film festivals and won awards in Amsterdam, Durban, and Munich. It had limited arthouse releases in Germany (August 20, 2015), France (March 2, 2016), and the United States (July 24, 2016). Netflix released the film worldwide (except France) in 2019, and it is also available on Kanopy. In 2018, Realeyz released it on its German indie film platform for Germany, Austria, and Portugal. The movie runs 86 minutes and is in Marathi.
