Sun Jiazheng, born March 1944 in Siyang, Jiangsu, is a Chinese politician. He studied Chinese at Nanjing University, graduating in 1968, and joined the Chinese Communist Party in 1966. He began his career during the Cultural Revolution and later held local party roles in Nanjing and Xuzhou, serving as secretary of the Xuzhou CCP Committee from 1984 to 1985. In 1989 he became deputy secretary of the Jiangsu CCP.

In 1994 he was appointed director of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, serving until 1998. He then became Minister of Culture from March 1998 to March 2008. In November 2006 he was elected chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a post he held until 2016. In March 2008 he was elected vice chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, serving until 2013.
