Almond Thomas Richards (3 April 1911 – 27 November 1992) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He came from the Eaglehawk Football Club in the Bendigo Football League. Richards was 179 cm tall and weighed 84 kg. In 1936, he played four games for Essendon and did not score any goals. Born in Tatura, Victoria, he later died in Eaglehawk, Victoria, at age 81. His move from a regional league to the VFL showed his notable talent for the era.
