Kedawung Setia Industrial
PT Kedawung Setia Industrial Tbk, publicly traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as KDSI, is an Indonesian home appliance maker based in Surabaya, East Java. It was founded on January 9, 1973, by Noto Suhardjo Wibisono and Agus Nursalim and started out making enamelware. In 1975 it became a limited company. The company mainly produces enamel-plated household appliances, and through its subsidiary PT Kedawung Setia Corrugated Carton Box Industrial, it also makes wave cardboard boxes and egg-storage products. It is expanding into enamel-plated construction items (usable for stadium roofs and mosque domes) and polypropylene plastic mats.
Kedawung Setia Industrial had its IPO approved by Bapepam-LK on June 28, 1996 and was listed on the Surabaya Stock Exchange on July 29, 1996. It serves customers worldwide and employs about 1,814 people. Its headquarters are in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. Website: kedawungsetia.com.
