Storm Watch
Storm Watch is a 2002 American science fiction film directed by Terry Cunningham. In the story, a person playing a virtual reality online game is pulled into a race against time to stop a weather satellite from destroying the world. The film stars Adrian Paul, Bai Ling, and Nick Cornish, with music by Sean Murray. It was released on May 1, 2002 and later came out on DVD and VHS under the title Code Hunter. Storm Watch uses reused special effects from Virus, End of Days, and Set It Off—for example, a scene where alien energy hits a Russian ship is repurposed as lightning striking a decommissioned Army ship; the Sea Star tug storm sequence is an artificial version of a natural storm; the subway train exteriors come from End of Days; and a Chevrolet Impala car chase is taken from Set It Off.
