Still Counting is a song by the Danish rock band Volbeat. It first appeared on their 2008 album Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood and later was added as a bonus track on some editions of Beyond Hell/Above Heaven. The single was released in 2012, four years after the album came out. The track runs 4:22 (album version) and 3:58 (radio edit) and blends heavy metal, rock and roll, and thrash metal. It was released by Republic and Universal and written by Michael Poulsen, Thomas Bredahl, Anders Kjølholm and Jon Larsen; produced by Jacob Hansen. The song topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart in the United States, making Volbeat’s second No. 1 there. A music video was filmed at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California and directed by Michael Sarna. In the singles chronology, it sits after “A Warrior's Call” (2011) and before “Cape of Our Hero” (2013).
