Steven John Mullaney (born 19 November 1986) is a retired English cricketer who spent most of his career with Nottinghamshire, after starting with Lancashire. Born in Warrington, he bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium-fast.

As a young player he represented England Under-19s, including the 2006 Under-19 World Cup, where he was England’s leading wicket-taker. He made his first-class debut for Lancashire in 2006 and later scored his maiden first-class century in 2007, an innings of 165 not out against Durham University. Mullaney joined Nottinghamshire in 2010 and became a key member of the team, earning the Nottinghamshire Player of the Year award in 2013. He captained the club from 2017, taking over from Chris Read.

He also played for Trent Rockets in The Hundred in 2022. Mullaney retired from professional cricket in October 2024 and moved into coaching at Nottinghamshire, working with the club’s players and their second XI.
