The 2019 FAI Cup, known as the Extra.ie FAI Cup for sponsorship, was the 99th edition of Ireland’s main knockout cup competition. Forty teams took part, including all clubs from the Premier Division and First Division. The tournament ran from 19 April to 3 November 2019, with the final at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, which has hosted the final since 2010.

Defending champions Dundalk beat Cork City in the previous final, but Shamrock Rovers won this year’s final 4–2 against Dundalk to claim their 25th Cup title.

Because Shamrock Rovers qualified for Europe through the league, the fourth-placed team in the Premier Division, Derry City, earned a place in the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League.
