Eresina maesseni
Eresina maesseni, or Maessen's eresina, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It lives in West Africa—Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, southern Nigeria and Cameroon—where it inhabits dense primary forests, both wet and dry. The binomial name is Eresina maesseni Stempffer, 1956.
