St. Catherine International Airport
St. Catherine International Airport (IATA: SKV, ICAO: HESC) is a public airport near St. Catherine in Egypt’s South Sinai Governorate. It sits about 20 kilometers northeast of the town, close to Mount Sinai. The airport is at an elevation of 1,331 meters (4,368 feet) above sea level and has one asphalt runway (17/35) that is 2,115 meters (6,939 feet) long. It is operated by the government. There are currently no regular commercial flights to or from the airport. In 2011, the airport served 247 passengers, a decrease from 2010.
