Sobri (notre destin)
Sobri (Notre Destin)
Sobri (Notre Destin) is the first single from French singer Leslie’s 2004 album Mes Couleurs. Written by Leslie Bourgouin, Amine Mounder, Kore and Skalp, and produced by Kore & Skalp with Georges Padey and Hayet Hamd as additional producers, the song blends R&B and Raï styles. It was very popular in France and in Belgium (Wallonia), nearly reaching number one. By August 2014, it had sold about 342,000 copies in France, making it one of the decade’s best-selling singles. In 2006, Amine covered Sobri on his album Au-delà des rêves in a club remix version. It followed the 2003 single Pardonner and preceded the 2004 release Et j’attends.
