Fabrizio Barchi
Fabrizio Barchi, born in 1957 in Ostia, Rome, is an Italian choir conductor. He began conducting in 1979 while studying at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome and has since led many choirs in music groups and schools. His ensembles include Coro Musicanova, the Primavera treble choir (Coro di voci bianche Primavera), the Coro Femminile Eos, the Coro Iride, and the high school choirs Primo Levi and Enriques, with which he has won many prizes. He has worked with important composers such as Ennio Morricone, directed festivals and regional choral associations, served as vice-conductor of the musical chapel of St. John Lateran, and holds the chair of Choral Conducting at the Conservatory Lorenzo Perosi in Campobasso.
