Sriram Engineering College
Sriram Engineering College is an engineering college in Perumalpattu, near Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established in 1993 and sits on a rural campus. The college is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. It was founded by Thiru M.E. Devarajan, the founder and chairman of the Sriram Educational Trust, making it one of the oldest engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. The institute has produced around 9,000 engineers who have secured jobs in various companies. A notable alumnus is Praveen Linga, who studied chemical engineering from 1996 to 2000, won a gold medal, and is now a professor at the National University of Singapore.
