Sreeja Chandran
Sreeja Chandran is an Indian television actress who mainly works in Malayalam and Tamil soap operas. She is best known for playing Meenatchi in STAR Vijay’s popular show Saravanan Meenatchi.
Personal life
She was born in Tiruvalla, Kerala. She has been known by stage names including Meenatchi, Jaya, and Maya. She married actor Senthil Kumar on July 2, 2014. The couple’s son, Sree Vallabh Dev, was born on January 4, 2023.
Career highlights
Sreeja began as a child artist in the Malayalam film Kathapurushan (1995). She has since acted in many Malayalam TV serials on channels such as Surya TV, Asianet, DD Malayalam, Amrita TV, Kairali TV, and others, taking a wide range of roles. In Tamil television, she appeared in serials like Madhurai and Manikoondu on Sun TV, and has acted in Tamil films as well.
Online work and web series
In recent years, she has expanded to online content, starring in web series such as Kalyanam Conditions Apply (Season 1 in 2017, Season 2 in 2020, Season 3 in 2021) and Hear 2 Heart (2019) on YouTube.

Sreeja runs the Senthil Sreeja Originals YouTube channel with her husband. The channel has hundreds of thousands of subscribers (about 319,000 as of 2024) and millions of views (over 60 million).
