Evermotion is the fourth studio album by the American alternative and indie rock band Guster. It was released on January 13, 2015, on Ocho Mule (the band's own label) and Nettwerk Records. This was Guster’s first album in five years, following Easy Wonderful (2010). The title comes from a line in the song Gangway: “I’d lean into each turn seeking evermotion.” The first single, “Simple Machine,” was released on September 9, 2014, with the B-side “Long Night.” Guster said they wanted to “become something else completely” with Evermotion. Relix described the album as a relaxed, reassuring Sunday-morning listen with tranquil tones. The album runs 38 minutes and 1 second and was produced by Richard Swift, fitting between Easy Wonderful (2010) and Look Alive (2019) in the band’s discography.
