Spearman High School
Spearman High School is a public high school in Spearman, Texas. It is part of the Spearman Independent School District in southeastern Hansford County and serves grades 9–12. The school has about 206 students (2023–2024) and about 22 full-time teachers, for a student-teacher ratio of 9.19. Principal: James Layman. School colors: purple, white, and black. Mascot: the Lynx. The campus address is 403 East 11th Avenue, Spearman, TX 79081-4008. The Spearman Lynx compete in UIL Class 3A athletics. The district website is Spearman ISD. In 2015, the Texas Education Agency rated the school as “Met Standard.”
