HGK (Hassas Güdüm Kiti) — Precision Guidance Kit — is Turkey’s GPS/INS guidance system that turns standard Mk 80-series bombs into smart munitions. Developed by TÜBİTAK-SAGE, it has been in service since 2004 and is used by the Turkish Air Force. The kit fits 500, 1000, or 2000-pound bombs (Mk 82/83/84) and uses GPS/INS guidance plus a CAMGÖZ laser seeker with a wide 315-degree view for all-weather targeting and countermeasures resistance. It offers accuracy around 6 meters CEP with GPS/INS (10 meters with INS only) and a range of up to about 28 km. The HGK can be mounted on F-16s and Turkish aircraft such as Akıncı, TF-X, Hürjet, Aksungur, and Hürkuş (with some variants limited to HGK-82 or HGK-83).
