Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu (1952–2008) was a Ghanaian politician and chartered accountant. He served as the Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North from January 1997 until his death on 24 September 2008. During President John Kufuor’s administration, he held several ministerial roles: Local Government and Rural Development (2001–2003), Education, Youth and Sports (2003–2005), and Finance and Economic Planning (2005–2008). In 2005, he became the first Ghanaian Finance Minister to present the Budget Statement and Economic Policy to Parliament before the start of the new fiscal year, for the 2006 year.

Baah-Wiredu was born in Asante Akim Agogo. He attended Kumasi High School, Prempeh College, and the University of Ghana, where he earned a B.Sc. in Administration (Accounting). He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1985 after training with the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He worked with Ghana Airways and the Volta River Authority, served as a senior consultant for computer systems, and was the finance manager of Ananse Systems. Before entering Parliament, he was a partner at the accounting firm Asante Wiredu and Associates.

He was elected to Parliament in 1996 as a member of the New Patriotic Party. He was married with six children. He died in Pretoria, South Africa, on 24 September 2008 after a short illness.
