Soulmates (TV series)
Soulmates is an American science fiction anthology TV series created by William Bridges and Brett Goldstein. It features self-contained stories about love and ran one season of six episodes on AMC from October 5 to November 9, 2020. The show stars Sarah Snook, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Dolly Wells, and Darren Boyd. It was renewed for a second season before it aired but was cancelled in 2022. The 2024 film All of You takes place in the same universe.
Set about fifteen years in the future, Soulmates centers on a company called Soul Connex, which offers a test that can tell you who your soulmate is with 100% accuracy. After taking the test, you either learn who your soulmate is and can pursue them, or you’re told that your soulmate hasn’t tested yet. Each episode explores whether love is destiny or a choice. Co-creator Will Bridges explains that a soulmate is the person you will love the most—someone you will feel a strong, undeniable love for, not someone who fixes you. Is that love true happiness, or the best person for you?
