Behrouz Afkhami
Behrouz Afkhami (born October 24, 1956, in Tehran) is an Iranian film director and screenwriter. He is known for using point-of-view camera techniques to tell human stories. He served as a member of the Iranian Parliament from 2000 to 2004, representing Tehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr. He hosted the third season of the TV show Haft. Afkhami studied at Iran Broadcasting University and has taught screenwriting, directing and editing since 1989, both privately and at universities. He was part of the Islamic Iran Participation Front until 2009. He was married to Nahid Tolou (they later separated) and is now married to Marjan Shirmohamadi.
