Sohrab Cycles is a Pakistani bicycle maker based in Lahore. It began in the early 1950s after Pakistan faced an import crisis, and was officially established on September 8, 1953 as a cooperative with 22 members, producing about five bicycles a day. The company is worker‑run, with the general body electing leaders every three years. It provides a subsidized workers’ canteen, a company hospital, and even sends five workers to Hajj each year.

Originally, Sohrab made a single‑speed roadster with a lugged steel frame and rod brakes. In the 1990s they added mountain bike and BMX styles. They also expanded into cargo tricycles, gym equipment, push‑chairs, and wheelchairs. In 1994 it entered motorcycles with the JS70, and a larger version later helped create an auto‑rickshaw.

Sohrab mainly serves rural areas in Pakistan, but it has exported cycles to Afghanistan and Bangladesh and wheelchairs to Madagascar through a French rotary club. It operates under the Pakistan Cycle Industrial Co‑Operative Society Limited and serves Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
