Burj Abi Haidar is a neighborhood in the Mazraa district of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. It lies at about 33.8835° N, 35.4996° E. The area is mainly Sunni Muslim, with a Shia community and smaller groups of Christians and Druze. The name comes from a defensive tower in the area and the Abi Haidar family. It is sometimes confused with Borj Abi Hadir, a fortification to the east of Beirut.
